So I’ve been trying out a lot of new (for me) tarts, and here is my review on them.
1) Blueberry Scone: This one was okay. The blueberry is slightly artificial (in my opinion), but it was pleasant. The throw was light-medium, but did not last very long (one tealight). I liked it better than Blueberry Muffin, but I would probably not buy this one again.
2) Vera Cruz Vanilla: To begin, I love Vera Cruz Vanilla, but this tart had virtually no scent. I have found that the older tarts (round sticker label), seem to have the oils mostly faded. In general, the scents (oils) in votives and tarts can diffuse over time out of the wax, leaving the tart/votive to have little to no scent. I, always, recommed that you do not keep tarts/votives for too long if you plan on burning them. I would say 5 years, but could be longer or shorter depending on how you store them. For examples, heat and/or sunlight can make the diffussion happen faster. To concluded: it was more of a luxuary to use a WJ tart.
3) Apple Pie is wonderful! It is warm, buttery, sweet, and crisp. I love this scent and wish that it was still around. I used this votive as a tart and it gave a nice, medium throw that I truly enjoyed.
4) Milk and Cookies: This scent is worthy of all the rave reviews I’ve read about it. It was bakery-like and warm, and creamy! I am glad I got a jar of this!
