Amish Friendship Bread and my thoughts on Front Porch Candle Co

I was saving Amish Friendship Bread because it was my favorite (cold) scent of the 10 Grubby Tarts I got from Front Porch Candle Co. So I lit it during the Glee finale!

Amish Friendship Bread

The scent was very nice…..kind of like freshly baking bread still mostly in the dough phase. The flour and baking soda were dominant scents…which is fine by me! (B+). I did like BBW’s French Baguette better though!

The Throw: was light-medium. It was a scent that could lightly fill up a large room…but I wish it was a tad stronger (just a tad!) B+ So overall, the scent was nice!

So my thoughts on Front Porch? Well, I LOVED a few of the scents (Sweet Potato Pie and Blueberry Cupcake), HATED a few of the scents (Chocolate Cupcake and Red Velvet), and others were so-so (Celtic Moonspice).

I’ll probably make another order in the future with them…..but I think my next online vendor order will be from eithe Candles from the Keeping Room or Candles by Victoria.

So: Yes, I think Front Porch is a good vendor with some gems! 🙂

  1. Glad you found some scents you enjoyed! I know lots of people say there is a certain “greasy” undertone to some of FP’s bakery scents, and I didn’t care for her chocolate ones, either. Chocolate is really hard to dupe well in wax, it seems!
