Sicilian Lemon

sicilian lemon

Sicilian Lemon (to the best of my knowledge) is a UK scent that was released last year by Yankee Candle. It was only for sale in the European Yankee Candles…..but a few found there way to American Yankee Candle outlets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a medium tumbler!

In case you didn’t know, I LOVE LEMON SCENTS.

For anyone wondering what Sicilian Lemon smells like….I have good news. It is Meyer Lemon. I smelled them side by side and could not tell the difference! My conclusion is the Sicilian Lemon is the UK version of Meyer Lemon.

The scent is nice, tart and sweet balanced nicely. It is a very freshly squeezed lemon, with a sprinkle of sugar, scent. (A-) The throw was excellent too…it filled up my living area in a warm medium (B+). Overall, I liked this scent…but I could have just as easily walked in to Yankee Candle and buy Meyer Lemon.

So good scent, bad treasure!

  1. The only lemon scent I’ve tried from Yankee has been a dud…I don’t remember the name of it, but I didn’t care for it at all. There’s no store close by, so I can’t exchange them. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Glad you liked this one, it sounds amazing!

  2. It’s funny how here in Europe we’re dying to get one of those fragrances available only in the US and…it turns out there are fragrances only we get as well! Anyway, I still think it’s not fair you’re getting so many more fragrances, especially from the food&spice category… ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I agree!!! Not Fair…..everyone should be able to get the same scents! ๐Ÿ™‚ I want more Honey and Biscuits! And Europeans should be able to get all the new scents (and the US all the new European scents ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

I also never understood why the same scent has two different names depending on if it’s sold in Europe or the US! lol, what is Yankee Candle thinking on this one?
