Yankee Candle Village

Jenna and I made our annual voyage to Yankee Candle Village last weekend, and it was Yankee Candle’s Autumn Splendor and Birthday! My husband, Mike, and Jenna’s boyfriend, Brian, joined us this year! It was so much fun and made me feel so happy to live near the mothership!

One of the highlights of the day was meeting the CEO of Yankee Candle, Harlan Kent!

Mr. Kent was so incredibly nice! It was amazing getting to meet him! He was down to Earth, and really funny! He teased our boys for staying away from pictures!

Harlan even signed a candle for me! He was so happy to read it back to me…deciding that I was Yankee Candle’s #1 fan!

What candle was it? Well my ALL TIME FAVORITE YANKEE CANDLE of course!

Candied Apple!!!!!! It’s a treasure for this season and I LOVE IT! It is the perfect autumn scent! And yup, I will never burn this candle!

Yankee Candle Village is a huge place that is an experience of a lifetime! In this picture we are posing in the Bavarian Christmas section where it “snows” every 4 minutes! It really gets you excited for Christmas! This place isn’t just a Yankee Candle, it’s a multiple area mall-like store with so much unique items! It changes every year!

Because it was a special event, there was ALOT of activities going on! One event was a “ticket booth” that you could go in. You go 30 seconds to try to grab the French Vanilla ticket! My husband got it! So we got a free large jar of French Vanilla! Jenna and I also got car fresheners for answering Yankee Candle trivia!

Overall, it was a wicked fun day!!!

  1. What a cool and fun day you had!

One day I’ll make it to the mothership! And I’d better bring an empty suitcase with me. ๐Ÿ˜€
