Happy New Years everyone! One of my New Year’s resolutions is to eat healthier. I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 12, and sometimes it can be difficult to get enough protein. Last year, I started eating a lot of Greek yogurt…it’s so good and has the same amount of protein as tofu!
Anyways, I hate mayonnaise, but love honey mustard. So, I adapted a recipe I found to create honey mustard using Greek yogurt instead of mayo.

1/2 cup plain, non-fat, Greek yogurt
3 teaspoons of mustard (any kind works, and you can mix different types)
3 teaspoons honey
Step 1: Add the half cup of Greek yogurt to a small bowl.
Note: The individual Chobani cups are 1/2 a cup. If you like your honey mustard extra honey-y, you can use the honey flavor Greek Yogurt.
Step 2: Add 3 teaspoons each of mustard and honey.
Note: I like using Dijon or spicy brown since it balances the sweetness from the honey well.
Step 3: Mix and enjoy!
I like to use this honey mustard on veggie burgers or as a dipping sauce for “chicken” substitutes.
For those who like honey mustard salad dressing……
Unfortunately the Greek Yogurt will curdle if you had any acids (like lemon juice or apple cider vinegar). So, you have to omit the Greek yogurt…..but you’re eating salad so its okay!
