North Pole

North Pole is a winter/holiday seasonal scent at Yankee Candle. It (in a way) replaced Jack Frost a few years ago and has been one of their staple Christmas scents.

I’m actually a big fan of this whimsical scent!

North Pole

The Scent: A dreamy blend of peppermint and vanilla. This is a Christmas foodie scent that reminds me of childhood Christmas Eve sweets! The peppermint is icy and cool like a newly opened candy cane, but that “iciness” is softened by the creamy vanilla marshmallow-like scent. It is a wonderful sweet blend perfect for the holidays, and for winter! B+

The Throw: The throw is decent. I will admit that I do wish it was a tad stronger….but this peppermint/vanilla mash-up will fill up a mid-sized room with a light-medium to medium throw. This is one of the first scents (and throws) I think of when I’m looking for a non-pine holiday scent. B-

Overall, I absolutely love North Pole. It is what I like to call a “bathroom size” scent. In a small room, this scent can shine, but in a large room, it gets muddled by the other holiday/seasonal scents. I do hope that Yankee Candle keeps this scent in their holiday line-up!

  1. RE Silver Birch: I believe that you are thinking of Lakeside Birch from a few years ago. I have a couple of medium jars of LB and like it very much. I do not know how well it sold when it was in the regular lineup, but every time they bring it back on the website for a SAS, it sells out.
