Wild Berry Cheesecake

It’s no secret that one of my favorite wax scents is Wild Berry Cheesecake from the Better Homes & Gardens line sold at Walmart. This is one of those scents that I always keep on hand, and get blown away each time I light it!

The Scent: This berry and cheesecake combo is heavenly. The mix of sweetened, syrupy berries is perfectly mixed with the creaminess of the cheesecake. While the berry scent (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry mix) is the dominant note, the buttery, dessert-like combo makes Wild Berry Cheesecake stand out from all other berry scents! It is amazing; a scent I can melt all year long! A

The Throw: Spectacular. Wild Berry Cheesecake has a strong throw that will fill up a large room quickly, but not be a “so strong it makes you sick” throw. A truly wonderful wax cube! A

This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I’ve reviewed Wild Berry Cheesecake….it’s just that good of a scent that I keep coming back to it and get “wowed” every time. A huge thank you to Jenna for buying me this wax cube!

As a side note, I moved from Rhode Island to Maryland almost a week ago to pursue a career in the geochemistry. My husband has been living in Maryland for the past two years working as a hydrometeologist (he helps determine flood frequency).  I lived in Rhode Island for 9 years and I was very sad to leave it.

Below are a few pictures from where I have worked as a graduate student the last 5 years: the beautiful Narragansett Bay Campus for the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.

The boat in this picture is the R/V Endeavor. I lived on this ship for 2 months back in 2010. We sailed across the Atlantic to Senegal from Florida, then back to Rhode Island! For research, of course, but it was still fun!

These are pictures from the GSO campus….I was so lucky to work directly on the ocean! Even if I was stuck in a lab and office most of the time!

So cheers Rhode Island, I had a great time! Now on to my future in Maryland!
