I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend…and for those of you who celebrate it: a Happy Easter! Easter to me was always filled with happy memories of chalk, jump ropes, and Peeps. I have to admit, I never really liked Peeps, and I became a vegetarian at age 10 and Peeps made my “no eat” list.
But whether you hate or love Peeps, there is no denying that they are one of the most iconic Easter candies!
I bought a tart of Yankee Candle’s Marshmallow Chicks, aka Peeps, at the Williamsburg flagship and melted it Friday night to help kick off Easter weekend.
The Scent: I’m pretty sure Marshmallow Chicks is just Campfire Marshmallow or Merry Marshmallow. It is a nice, gooey, marshmallow scent. It’s hard to describe, but smells like opening a bad of those big fluffy marshmallows for the first time. In my opinion, its nice, but not really anything special. I actually think it’s missing that sugar-coating sweetness, but if you like Peeps, this will make you smile! B-
The Throw: My problem with this scent was the throw. It is pretty light. It had only a small scent radius that got drown in my living room. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. D+
Overall, I guess a Peep scent is not my ideal food scent, but it is pleasant and that picture is adorable. If only the throw was a bit stronger!
