Christmas in Paris

Christmas in Paris is one of the most buzzed about holiday-themed World Journey scents from Yankee Candle. It’s been around for a while, and pops up occasionally at Homegoods/TJMaxx/Marshalls as well as the outlets.

Chrsitmas in ParisJenna bought me this medium tumbler for Christmas a few years ago…and as part of my “experience rather than let collect dust” initiative, I finally lit it!

The Scent: A delightful pine scent. If you like pine, fresh, or “Christmas tree” based candle scents, this is one you’ll want to try out! Pure, simple, like walking through a Douglas Fir tree farm during a light snowfall. A-

The Throw: A wonderful living room scent. A medium throw that fills up a large room, but is not too over-bearing but still detectable the entire time its lit! A-

Overall, Christmas in Paris is a great winter scent! I still like Magical Frosted Forest better, but this one is a close second!

  1. I wish my husband liked pine scents the way that yours does! Christmas in Paris is one of my fav holiday scents and the first WJ candle that I ever bought. It is just so fresh, but I detect a slight floral rose note, too. Sadly, my husband really doesn’t like anything pine. I burn it when I know he won’t be around. But the throw is so strong that it tends to linger long after I’m done.

    • That’s too bad! Pine is so simple and fresh…does your husband like fresh/woodsy scents like Autumn Leaves. That is the only other “scent type” that my husband enjoys. All others he just tolerates! 🙂

      • Too much pine in Autumn Leaves for him also. He’s more of a baked goods scent guy. The only fresh scent I can get him to agree on is Mountain Lodge.
        Thanks for responding!
