Yankee Candle: Christmas Thyme

img_20161223_172942796Well I loved Christmas Thyme. This was a fun scent that was unique and semi-wintry at the same time. While the throw could be stronger, I enjoyed this new 2016 winter scent from Yankee Candle.

The Scent: Fresh cut thyme, a hit of lemon, and a touch of sweetness. To be honest, it smelled a bit like an herbal lemon Pez candy…which turns out to be an awesome combination. Green, sweet, and citrusy, although, to be fair, this could easily be a summer or a winter scent.. I enjoyed it! A-

The Throw: The throw was a light-medium that would probably be best suited for a small room. It did last all night though. Overall, I wish it were, maybe, two notches higher. C

Overall, I loved Christmas Thyme…it had a fun herbal-lemon scent that was a perfect kitchen combination. Unfortunately, the throw left more to be desired.

  1. Cool, I’m glad that you liked this too-I liked the notes and thought it was unique both for a Festive scent and not just a repackaged Yankee. I was nervous it was going to go unnoticed compared to the fruity drink ones that came out, but CT turned out pretty popular. My suster and I both had good throwing tarts, so there’s hope. Maybe it will come back next year.

P.S. I specifically got a $5 small tumbler to burn in the summer😊
