It’s been a warm, but rainy weekend. I decided I wanted a nice cozy scent to fill my home, so I selected Apple Cider from Yankee Candle.
The Scent: A wonderful spiced apple. The apple note smells baked and soft, so less like a juicy-just-picked-apple but more like a fresh apple that has been simmering in spices in a warm oven. The cinnamon note is warm and spicy, making this scent cozy and reminiscent of fall. A-
The Throw: No complaints here. It’s a solid medium that completely filled up my living room for many hours! It never faded into the background, was always detectable, but never over-bearing. Just lovely! A-
Overall, I am a big fan of Apple Cider. It is a nice and warm apple scent, different enough from Macintosh, that really has a perfect spice mix. It’s less Potpourri and more mulled apple cider! I love it!
